Step by Step: Our Collaboration with Studiomama at London Design Festival 2025
For London Design Festival 2025, we wanted to do something that presented jewellery differently, something that revealed itself over time. That’s how 'Step by Step' came to life.
Hosted at The Wax Building in Shoreditch, our exhibition turned a characterful stairwell into a journey. As visitors climbed, they discovered our jewellery collection piece by piece, a kind of trail of ideas, materials, and forms.
At each landing, another story appeared. From our core collection by Theodora Alfredsdottir, Sebastian Bergne, Daniel Eatock, Jamie Wolfond, and Studio 0.25, to a final reveal at the top: a brand new jewellery series by Studiomama.
It was delightful to see people stop, notice, and ascend — literally and figuratively — through designs.
Working with Studiomama
Collaborating with Studiomama was a true highlight. We’ve admired their playful, human approach for years, and for Step by Step, they created something completely their own, beginning with a set of sculptural, characterful forms that “walked” visitors up the stairwell.
At the top, we unveiled their new jewellery series made especially for the exhibition: Other Half bangle, ring, and pendant necklace. Each is crafted from 940 silver and mirror-polished to perfection. Beautiful, minimal, and a little mischievous, just like Studiomama themselves.
Making local, thinking global
Every part of Step by Step was made close to the show. The modular display system was designed by Brown Office, a Shoreditch-based studio, and fabricated within just one kilometre of The Wax Building. That commitment to hyper-local production mirrors how we work back in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, where we collaborate with expert makers and craftspeople to bring each design to life.
We believe that small-scale, local manufacturing is a big part of jewellery’s future, not just for sustainability, but for creativity. When you’re close to the making, we think you stay close to the meaning.
Who we are
At Point Two Five, we create jewellery with and for designers, artists, and creatives who see the world a little differently. Every piece in our collection is made from recycled metals, produced in small runs, or made to order.
We collaborate with some incredible people:
-
Theodora Alfredsdottir – Icelandic product designer working in London
-
Wendy Andreu – French craft designer based in Paris
-

Every collaboration brings a new energy, a different way of thinking about what jewellery can be.
Our Second London Design Festival
Being part of Shoreditch Design Triangle at London Design Festival 2025 was a huge moment for us. The Wax Building was buzzing with creativity, surrounded by brands like Tamart, Cozmo, Minimalux, and LightMass, plus over 20 other incredible guests.
It felt like the perfect setting to share what we do; thoughtful design, local craftsmanship, and collaborations that bridge art and industry.
