About the Design
Daniel Eatock takes the generic Bic pen, ubiquitous and anonymous, and elevates its cap in precious metal. This intervention transforms it into a hybrid object, part trophy, part tool. It becomes a marker of achievement alongside academic caps, corporate badges, and ceremonial objects.

About the collaboration
Eatock’s work is driven by ideas, systems, and subtle subversions. He's long been interested in process, conceptual frameworks, and in taking commonplace things and daily ephemera, and nudging them into new registers of attention. This pen cap expands his practice into jewellery. It’s both decorative and functional; both serious and silly.

Every pen cap is made to order, minimising waste and ensuring care at every stage. Please allow 5 business days before shipping (and an extra 5 for gold-plating).
