description by jamie wolfond
"When working with precious metals, we often expose as much of it as possible. It seems natural to celebrate a material by making it extremely visible. The Flash Ring represents a different point of view. The precious metal that comprises the ring is entirely covered except for a tiny face which is sanded and polished to reveal the material underneath. The exposed metal has the effect of a jewel, making a precious metal even more special." - Jamie Wolfond

ABOUT SILVER AND GOLD VERMEIL
100% Recycled 925 Silver and recycled Gold Vermeil. Our gold vermeil styles are made with 14k solid gold (of at least 3 microns) carefully layered on top of 925 sterling silver. The finish is five times thicker than average gold plating, and far more durable.
